"We still seemed to
lack some legs (on
defense)," Walker
said. "We are going
to have to play
extraordinary
defense to beat some
the teams later on
our schedule."
The Warriors (4-0)
were paced by Keith
Scarbrough with 17
points. Terreno
Butler, Eric Burrett
and Jamal Harris all
finished in double
figures as well.
When Multnomah
packed it in
defensively, Walker
said, L-C struggled
to get the ball
inside the paint.
The team finished
with 24 turnovers as
a result.
"We were trying to
get the ball inside
more," the
first-year coach
said. "We just
didn't handle it
well."
L-C will be on the
road again tonight,
this time facing
Cascade, a club it
beat last week in
Lewiston.
