Assistant Coach Tim Walker

Tim Walker enters his second season as an assistant coach at Lewis-Clark State.  After serving as the head coach at Montana State-Northern from 1997-2001, Walker came to LC at the start of the 2001 season.   While Walker was at MSU-Northern, he was voted Frontier Conference Coach of the Year for the 1997-98 season. That team set the school record for most wins in a season with 26. His players have a graduation record of 90 plus percent.  During his tenure at MSU-N, Walker's clubs produced a 72-55 record and one of the highest winning percentages in the league over that period of time.  He also coached three All-Americans during that time.  Prior to becoming the head coach at MSU-N, Walker served as the assistant for three years.  Tim also taught history and political science, while coaching football and basketball at Columbus High School from 1991-1993.  

A part-time Kinesiology instructor at MSU-Northern and a native of Absarokee, MT, Walker earned Academic All-Conference and All-Conference accolades. He played basketball and graduated from Rocky Mountain College in Billings,MT in 1990. In high school, he was named Montana Athlete of the Year in 1986. Walker is a part-time Kinesiology instructor at Lewis-Clark State College.
