Game Story at Idaho
MOSCOW,ID--Brianne Jolley scored a season-high 27 points in leading the NAIA Division Is fourth-ranked womens basketball team to a convincing 91-70 win over NCAA Division I-member, Idaho, in a non-conference game played in Moscow, ID, Friday night, December 15th.
Lewis-Clark State (10-1) used a 15-5 run late in the first half to pull away 35-21 and then take a 50-37 lead into the locker room. Alyssa Erickson added 19 points and Shannon Russel chipped in with 11 points for the Warriors.
Lewis-Clark State shot 56.4% from the field and enjoyed a 36-13 advantage over the Vandals in points off turnovers.
Idaho (3-8) was led by Laura Blooms double-double of 23 points and 10 rebounds before fouling out of the game with 1:59 to go in the game. Darci Pemberton added 14 points and Kelly Benad scored 13 points and grabbed seven rebounds coming off of the bench.
Lewis-Clark State plays host to NAIA Division IIs 8th-ranked Northwest Nazarene University, Saturday, December 16th, at 7:00 pm.
