Warriors Tame Battlin' Bears, 81-48

LEWISTON,ID--Brianne Jolley scored a team-high 15 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead fifth-ranked (NAIA Division I) Lewis-Clark State College to an 81-48 Frontier Conference women’s basketball win over Rocky Mountain College.

Lewis-Clark State (19-2, 4-1 Frontier Conference) held Rocky Mountain (10-8, 3-1) without a field goal for the final 5:29 of the first half, which led to a 16-2 run by the Warriors. Lewis-Clark State led 45-18 at the break.

Brianne Kottwitz added 13 points and Alyssa Erickson chipped in with 11. Katarina Gabaniova came off of the bench and scored a season-high 10 points.

Sarah Megyesi and Tommi DeRudder led the Lady Bears with eight points apiece.
