Game Story vs. Simon Fraser
LEWISTON,ID--Jennifer Van de Walle and Jessica Kaczowka both turned in double-doubles to help lead Simon Fraser to a 73-68 exhibition game victory over Lewis-Clark State, Monday night, December 18th, at the Warrior Gymnasium.
Van de Walle scored a team-high 15 points and grabbed 10 rebounds while Kaczowka registered 12 points and a team-high 13 rebounds for the Clan. Teresa Kleindienst added 12 points and five assists, while Gaby Salazar chipped in with 11 points.
Simon Fraser (12-4) outscored Lewis-Clark State, 30-18, on points in the paint and held the Warriors to only 34.4% from the floor for the game.
Lewis-Clark State was led by Sara McEacherns game-high 16 points, before fouling out with 6:03 remaining, and Brianne Jolley added 13 points and a team-high eight rebounds, in a losing cause. Jessica Foot added 12 points coming off of the bench and Alyssa Erickson chipped in with 11.
Tonights game was an exhibition game for Lewis-Clark State, but Simon Fraser will count it as a regular season game.
