Lewis-Clark State Signs JC Star
“We are extremely excited that Aundrea has decided to join our program,” said Orr. “She is very athletic and makes everything she does look easy. She has a great shooting touch and is an outstanding rebounder because she gets off the floor so quickly. One of the best things we like is the fact that she is coming from a winning program and knows what it takes. We expect her to play a major role on next year’s team.” A 6’ post player, Morrison played two seasons for Bobbi Hazeltine at Walla Walla Community College where was a two-time NWAACC 1st Team All-Star selection. This past season she led the NWAACC in scoring averaging 21.7 points per game. Morrison was named MVP of the Eastern Region both as a freshman and again as a sophomore. In 2004, she set a WWCC single season field goal record connecting on over 63% of her shots. In her two year career as a Warrior, Morrison has averaged over 21 points and over 10 rebounds per game. At the 2005 NWAACC Championship, she averaged 22.3 points per game and was the tournament’s leading rebounder, pulling down 16.8 per game. The Hermiston, Oregon native was a McDonald’s All-American nominee out of high school. Morrison is joining a Lewis-Clark State team that returns four starters and finished 22-11, while reaching the NAIA National Tournament for the ninth time in the last ten seasons.
