The Lewis-CLark State College women’s basketball program continues to thrive under the guidance of head coach Mike Divilbiss.
Since Divilbiss took charge of the Warriors prior to the 1987-88 season, the program has reached new heights:

The Warriors have advanced to the NAIA National Tournament four consecutive seasons, falling one game short of the Final Four in 1997-98.n
The Warriors have participated in the NAIA District 1 post-season playoffs 10 of the 12 years, reaching the semifinals all 10 times.n
The Warriors are 249-116, a .682 winning percentage, and have averaged winning 20.8 games a season.n
The Warriors have compiled seven straight 20-win seasons.n
The Warriors are 125-28 in Warrior Gymnasium, an .817 winning percentage.n
The Warriors have lost 17 of their 116 games to NCAA Division I schools, leaving Divilbiss with a record of 244-99 against non-NCAA Division I teams, a .711 winning percentage.LCSC finished 23-9 last season, including a victory at the NAIA National Tournament.
Divilbiss played four seasons of basketball at Winona State University in Winona, Minn., earning his undergraduate degree in physical education in 1981. He earned a master’s degree in physical education from Eastern Washington University in Cheney in 1987.
Divilbiss, 40, is married to the former Judy Abts, who has a degree in physical education from Lewis-Clark State College. Mike and Judy have two children, Zachary, 11, and Chantel, 9.
