Warriors Drop to #4

The Lewis-Clark State College women’s basketball team dropped to #4 in the latest National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Top-25 Poll, released Tuesday, December 5th. The Warriors were ranked #3 in the Preseason poll released in October.

The Warriors (7-1), suffered its only loss, this season, to second-ranked Southern Nazarene University, in a tournament in Plainview, TX. Lewis-Clark State won the Banner Bank/Howard Johnson’s Tournament over last weekend.

The Frontier Conference is well represented in the Top-25 Poll. Joining L-C is Western Montana College at #12 and Montana State University-Northern at #22. WMC were ranked #14 in the preseason poll and MSUN is making its first appearance in the Top-25.

The Warriors return to action on Friday, December 8th, when they host Willamette University at 7:00 pm.
