Lewiston, ID-The Lewis-Clark State College men’s and women’s basketball teams are picked to finish second in the Frontier Conference, according to the preseason coaches poll released Tuesday, October 16th.

The Lewis-Clark State women (33-4, 12-2), the defending regular-season and post-season champs, are picked to finish second in the Frontier Conference. The Warriors registered 43 points, just one behind favorite Montana-Western (23-8, 10-4). Carroll College (16-11, 7-7) is a close third and MSU-Northern (25-9, 10-4) is fourth with 35 points. Westminster (16-12, 8-6) and Rocky Mountain (12-17, 5-9) are fifth and sixth, respectively, while the University of Great Falls (9-21, 2-12) and Montana Tech (7-24, 2-12) round out the field.

The women kickoff their season November 9th as they open the Banner Bank/Howard Johnson’s Tournament against Concordia University of Portland at 8:00 PM.
