LEWISTON, ID-The Lewis-Clark State College Warriors fell out of the latest NAIA Division I Women’s Basketball Top 25 Poll released Tuesday, January 15th, receiving 11 votes. According to the NAIA office, the last Lewis-Clark State was not ranked was prior to the 1996 season.

Lewis-Clark State (12-7, 2-2 Frontier) split a pair of conference games at home last week, losing to then #8 Montana-Western, 77-70, and then rolled to an 84-65 win over Montana Tech. The Warriors will now hit the road for a pair of games, starting on Thursday at Rocky Mountain who was already defeated Montana-Western, earlier this season. Saturday, the Warriors will look to avenge their worst Frontier Conference loss ever, 85-68, in Helena, last year.

Oklahoma City (16-0), the defending National Champions, still are the unanimous top-ranked team. Union University of Tennessee (15-2) holds at #2 and Southern Nazarene University (14-2) also remains at #3. Forth-ranked North Georgia (15-1) continues to move up and Campbellsville University of Kentucky (15-3) moves up one to #5.

Frontier Conference teams that are ranked: #8 Montana-Western (17-3) stays at #8. Montana State-Northern (15-3) drops three spots to #19 after being upset by Great Falls at home, last Saturday. Carroll College received one vote for the Top 25, again.

The next poll will be released January 22nd.
