LEWISTON, ID-The Lewis-Clark State College Warriors women’s basketball team moves up two spots in the latest NAIA Division I Top 25 Poll, released Tuesday, February 12th. L-C was ranked #24 in last week’s poll.

Lewis-Clark State (17-9, 7-4 Frontier) split a pair of games last week, defeating Montana Tech, 91-59, and then losing a tough game to then #4 Montana-Western, 80-73. Both games were on the road. This week, L-C hosts Carroll College, on Thursday, and Rocky Mountain on Saturday. Both games tip-off at 6:00 PM.

The top five remains the same, but for just one change. Southern Nazarene (23-2) remains atop the poll, receiving all 12 first-place votes. Defending National Champions Oklahoma City University (24-1) moves in to second. Frontier Conference member, Montana-Western (24-3), moves up one to number three and Union University (23-3) slips to #4. North Georgia College and State University (24-2) moves into the top five after being ranked sixth in last week’s poll.

Carroll College received five votes and Montana State-Northern picked up one vote.
