Brooke Cushman #44 5-11 Jr. Post Lewiston, ID
cushman992000.JPG (11163 bytes) What About Brooke ...

Cushman has played her best basketball at the end of the season the last two years. And she’s been assigned a portion of her game to work on each season and has responded. Two years ago it was free-throw shooting and now she’s at better than 70 percent. Last year it was using her left hand around the basket and she’s improved there, too. She’s also added a shot fake to her arsenal of weapons.

Divilbiss on Cushman: "Brooke is one of those players you just love to coach. She works so hard all the time. Every time she’s on the court she’s giving every ounce of energy and sweat she can possibly give. The biggest challenge for Brooke is to keep a scoring mentality that she plays with when we gym rat. In April, it doesn’t mean much. We need her to have that mentality all year, not just in spring ball.
