1997-98 Player Profiles

Robin Berg #20 5-7 Sr. Guard Grangeville, Idaho
Robin is the daughter of Miles and Kathy Berg. Robin is one of the 5-4 year seniors in the Warrior program. She has been a starter for the past two years and averaged 7.2 ppg, 2.2 rpg and 1.4 spg during her junior year. In additon, she shot 70% from the free-throw line and 31% from the 3-pt line. Robins role as a defender is crucial to the Warriors as she is asked to guard our opponents key players. Robin is a great in-between player who can score inside and out, stationary, and off the dribble. With her cumulative GPA of 3.8, Robin was the recipient of a NAIA Academic All-American award last season and has been a Presidential Scholar since her arrival as a freshman. Robin will graduate this spring with a degree in communications.
PERSPECTIVE: 1997 NAIA Academic All-American; Berg is what Divilbiss terms an "in between scorer," meaning she can take the ball to the basket or pull up and score off the dribble. She’s also an excellent defender.
PROSPECTUS: "If Robin will look to score more than she does, she will help us that much more. She’s a really good motion maker; she’s great offensively."
