PROFILE: Amanda Campell, the daugther of Judy Baden, continues to raise the level of play in the Warrior program. Amanda led the team in rebounding averaging 6.0 rpg, assists averaging 3.2 apg, and in steals averaging 2.6 spg. She was second on the team in scoring at 10.5 ppg. Amanda was also one of the confrence leaders in several other statistical categories 5th assists, 3rd steals, 9th rebounding. Amanda is already 5th in the Warrior record book for steals in a career and she still has two years left. She is also fast approaching the record for most assists in a career. After a summer in Portland AC has returned to the Warrior program playing her best ball ever. ACs amazing athletic ability combined with her experience understanding of the Warrior program are going to inable a fantastic year for her and the team. Amanda is majoring in Social Work and her tremendous work ethic in the classroom is comparable to that on the court. | |||||||||||||
| PERSPECTIVE: 1996 PNWAC Honorable Mention; 1997 PNWAC 1st Team All Conference; Campbell played in a very competitive summer league program, where her confidence soared. Shes able to take over a game at crucial times, and her perimeter shooting has improved. | ||||||||||||||
| PROSPECTUS: "Shes always had the ability; she just needed the confidence and I think her confidence level is better than it was a year ago. She can get to the hole whenever she wants regardless of what the defense is doing. She sometimes doesnt look to do enough out there." | ||||||||||||||
