1997-98 Player Profiles

Sara McEachern #40 6.0 Fr. Post Lewiston, Idaho
Sara the daughter of Mike & Margaret, has decided to stay home to go to college. The Warriors are really excited about her decision. As a senior at Lewiston High school, Sara averaged 11.5 ppg and 6.7 rpg. While leading her team to a IEL conference championship. Sara has worked extremly hard since completing her senior season. She is a tremendously talented player who runs the floor very well. She is strong and can score both on the block and away from the basket. She will have an outstanding career in a warrior uniform. Sara’s high school GPA at 3.87 has qualified her for a Presidential scholarship. Her major is Elementry Education.
PERSPECTIVE:McEachern (pronounced McKarn) has a chance to be one of the best players in the country by the time she’s finished at LCSC. Another Lewiston Bengal, McEachern is athletic enough that she can grab the rim. Divilbiss hopes to use McEachern in offensive transition as well as in the post.
PROSPECTUS: "She’s going to do nothing but get better. She learns very quickly. She picks something up and carries it over right away into the drill. She’s worked extremely hard in the weight room, and she’s going to be fun to coach."
