2003-04: Shot 56.7% from the field last season…was a key defensive performer down the stretch last year…had a season-high 6 points vs. Fraser Valley (10-25-03)…had career-high 11 rebounds vs. UM-Western (3-12-04)…averaged 2.3 ppg and 3.4 rpg last season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Glencoe High School in 2003…averaged 13 points and 7.9 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game as a senior…selected to the Second Team All-Metro League in 2003…received the Lewis-Clark State College Presidential Scholarship with an incoming GPA of 3.9.

PERSONAL: Undecided major…son of Randy and Cynthia Pitts…graduated high school from a 3.9 grade point average…member of the National Honor Society…COACH PFEIFER ON PITTS: “We are very excited to have this young man in our program. He is a mobile 6’8 left handed forward with tremendous upside. He has the type of frame you know is going to put on good weight. His movement on the court is fluid. There are times he demonstrates small forward ability at the offensive end of the floor. To date he is surrounded with several players in our program that are older and more physically mature. The gap in physical maturity is not staggering, but it is there. What this creates for him is a learning laboratory day to day which forces him to play at the top of his game. This kind of competition married into the fact he is very intelligent and coach able is good for him and good for us. We strongly feel in time that Chris is going to play a big part in the future of our program."
