50 Jared Tikker   6-6 Sophomore Forward   Nine Mile Falls, WA   Lakeside H.S.

2003-04: Started 24 games as a freshman …averaged 3.6 ppg and 2.0 rpg…had a season-high 10 points vs. Malaspina University (11-28-03)…shot 43% from the field and 73% from the free throw line last season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Lakeside High School in 2003…twice name to the First Team Great Northern League…averaged 14.9 points and 9.7 rebounds a game as a senior…shot almost 55 percent from the floor…helped Lakeside to the Washington State tournament in 2003 and 2002…received the Lewis-Clark State College Presidential Scholarship with an incoming GPA of 3.9.

PERSONAL: Undecided major…son of Paul and Donna Tikker…graduate from high school with a 3.9 grade point average…finished second in the state in the high jump as a junior. COACH PFEIFER ON TIKKER: “The simple fact he started 24 games on a team that owns the most wins in the history of the school and he was only a freshmen are a testament to our positive feelings about him.  He came to us with outstanding mental maturity and has in the course of a year doubled that with his physical maturity.  He has really grown in the little things that define a quality basketball player (i.e. passing, rebounding, dribbling and defending).  His role in this year’s program is critical to our overall success immediately and in the future!”
