BILLINGS, Mont. -- The Warriors ran
low on gas Saturday night on the
second leg of a Montana road trip,
falling 75-60 to Rocky Mountain
College in a Frontier Conference
men's basketball game.
The home team shot 58 percent and
held Lewis-Clark State to 40
percent.
"We were a step behind the whole
night," LCSC coach Tim Walker said.
"On the scoreboard, we were ahead
for a few minutes. But we didn't
have a lot of energy tonight."
The Warriors were without two
front-liners for much of the night.
Jared Tikker missed the game with an
ankle injury and Jamal Harris
suffered from flu-like symptoms and
played only eight minutes.
Chris Nickolei poured in 18
points for Rocky Mountain, while
Devin Uskoski collected 15 points
and 11 rebounds.
Eric Durrett scored 17 points for
the Warriors, Keith Scarbrough added
seven points and six rebounds, and
Spencer Bishop played solidly at
point guard.
