Game Story vs. Idaho
Warriors Knock Off D-I Vandals
MOSCOW, ID--The Lewis-Clark State Warriors won a defensive struggle
against NCAA Division I-member, Idaho, 54-46, Friday night, November 10th. The game
was the Vandals second exhibition game.
Lewis-Clark State (1-1) was led by Ryan Bender's (Shoreline, WA) first
double-double of the season, 16 points and 11 rebounds, to defeat Idaho. Bender
scored 10 of his 16 points in one stretch during the second half. Jared Price
(Gresham, OR) added 11 points and Beau Barney (Grand Junction, CO)
added 10 off of the bench.
The Warrior defense forced 22 Vandal turnovers and also held them to 34.7% shooting from
the floor.
The Vandals were led by Bethuel Fletcher's 11 points. Idaho had the lead only twice
during the game, 1-0 and 3-2.
