Warriors Bury Orediggers, 73-53

LEWISTON, ID--Beau Barney scored a team-high 20 points to lead Lewis-Clark State to a 73-53 Frontier Conference men’s basketball win, Thursday night, at Warrior Gymnasium.

Lewis-Clark State (15-9, 7-3 Frontier Conference) used a 14-5 run in a five minute period, early in the second half, to jump ahead 50-31, and Tech could never draw any closer than 15 points the rest of the way. Ryan Bender added 11 points and a team-high nine rebounds. All, but one Warrior, scored tonight. Lewis-Clark State shot 52% (26-50) from the floor while holding Tech to only 38.2% (21-55).

Montana Tech (10-16, 3-7) was led by Scott Leland’s 12 points and Glen McCloud’s 11 points. Raenhard Wesselschmidt pulled down a team-high ten rebounds.
