Game Story vs. Western Montana


 

Bulldogs defeat Warriors, 66-56

 

LEWISTON, ID--Western Montana held Lewis-Clark State to 39.7% shooting from the floor, in the game, and rolled to a 66-56 Frontier Conference men’s basketball game, Monday night, at Warrior Gymnasium.

The Bulldogs (13-13, 6-5 Frontier Conference) were led by Josh Frunz’ 12 points, coming off of the bench. Another reserve, Gabe Walker added 11 points while Neil Christaens and Josh Keller chipped in with ten points apiece. Western led by as many as 11 points in the contest and the Warriors only led three times in the game.

Senior Jared Price led the Warriors (15-10, 7-4) with 19 points and five assists. Fellow senior Ryan Bender added 14 points to go along with a team-high nine rebounds. Seven seniors were honored prior to the game: Price, Bender, Stan Divranos, Issac Castro, Jeremy Jeppesen, Phillip Way, and Zach Wilson. All played their final home game at Warrior Gymnasium.
