Warriors in the National Statistics
LEWISTON-The Lewis-Clark State College men’s and women’s basketball teams and individual players are amongst the nation’s best in the latest release of the NAIA Division I Men’s and Women’s Basketball Statistics.
The men’s team has the sixth highest scoring average, 92.1 points per game. The Warriors are 18th-best in scoring margin, winning by an average of 13.4 ppg. L-C has the third-best field goal percentage at 53.7% and the second-best 3-point field goal percentage, 43.9%. The Warriors are the 14th-best free throw shooting team in the country, 72.3%.
Individually, Jason Brazier is 11th in field goal percentage, 61.1%. Beau Barney is also 11th in the country, in 3-point field goal percentage, 48.0%. Brazier is also 15th in free throw percentage, 84.9%.
The women’s team is #12 in scoring, averaging 77.8 ppg. Katarina Gabaniova is 14th in the country in field goal percentage, 56.2%.
