Tim Walker
enters his second season as an assistant coach at Lewis-Clark State.
After serving as the head coach at Montana State-Northern from 1997-2001,
Walker came to LC at the start of the 2001 season. While Walker was at
MSU-Northern, he was voted Frontier Conference Coach of the Year for the 1997-98 season.
That team set the school record for most wins in a season with 26. His players have a
graduation record of 90 plus percent. During his tenure at MSU-N,
Walker's clubs produced a 72-55 record and one of the highest winning
percentages in the league over that period of time. He also coached
three All-Americans during that time. Prior to becoming the head
coach at MSU-N, Walker served as the assistant for three years. Tim
also taught history and political science, while coaching football and
basketball at Columbus High School from 1991-1993. |
