2001-02: Started 31 games before breaking his foot in the

Tournament...Was an All-American and All-Conference selection...Lead
the conference in rebounding at 8.0 per game...Averaged 14.7
points per game, while snatching a team leading 64 steals (2.1 per game)...Lawson
lead the team in scoring on 6 different occasions, with his
high being 26 in an 88-62 win over the MSU-Northern Lights...He led the
team in rebounding an amazing 21 times, with his high of 14 coming in
that same win over MSU-Northern...He also recorded 7 double-doubles last
year...Was All-Tourney at the Oregon Tech and Clearwater River Casino/KOZE
tournaments...Coach Pfeifer on Sta'fon: "In my mind, night in and night out, he was our glue. We gave him the
opponent's best player to guard, and
it did not matter if they played inside or outside. He led the conference
in rebounding and at his height, that was just he thinking every
missed shot was his rebound. Sta'fon is extremely explosive taking
the ball to the basket, and, he can pull up and shoot it away. So,
he becomes hard to defend. The bottom line is Sta'fon makes plays and
not all those plays show up in the statistics. However, without those
plays, we are not as good of a team." JUNIOR COLLEGE: Attended Edmonds Community College in Lynwood
WA...Selected First-Team All-North Division and All-NWAACC Tournament Second-Team...Played
in the NWAACC All-Star Game...Averaged 13.5 ppg and 10.6 rpg for the Tritons...Played for

senior...Played for coaches Bill Lee and Lester Mobley...PERSONAL: Born
