Hill is new
assistant director of auxiliary services
Lewiston’s Rick Hill has been named to the new
position of assistant director of auxiliary services/athletic coordinator in
the Lewis-Clark State College athletic department.
Hill will be responsible for developing and maintaining collaborative
working relationships with athletic personnel, auxiliary services personnel,
and the public.
Hill’s duties will be to provide administrative assistance in the management
and operation of auxiliary services/athletics. He also will assist with
fundraising, public relations, athletic game management, activity center
event management. Hill will provide oversight of game management, sports
information activities, laundry and uniforms of all athletic teams and
explore fundraising opportunities for sports programs.
Hill’s supervisor will be Jamie White, director of auxiliary services at
LCSC.
Hill has been involved as a salesman in athletic apparel and equipment for
more than 20 years. Hill started as a sales representative for Kimmel
Athletic in Spokane in 1980 and moved on to store manager/sales
representative for Athletic Supply in Seattle in 1992. In 1994, he went back
to Kimmel Athletic Supply as sales manager/sales representative, but went
back to Athletic Supply in 2000 as a sales representative. In all four
positions, the Lewiston area was part of his sales territory, which allowed
him to maintain his residence here.
Hill is a 1971 graduate of Boise State University where he received his
bachelor’s degree in Education.
Hill will start his new duties on May 23.
