L-C second at regional's, qualifies for nationals

CHRISTINA LAKES, B.C. -- The Lewis-Clark State College women's golf team qualified for the NAIA National Tournament by placing second at the Region 1 Tournament held at Christina Lakes, B.C.
The Warrior Men placed fourth and remain alive for a berth to the National Tournament.
The women were paced Juanita Villa and Nikki Olson, who placed third and fourth overall respectively and were named to the All Tournament Team.
The men were led by Jeff Smith, who tied for second overall and was also named to the All Tournament Team.
The Women's National Tournament will be held at South Bend, Indiana in May.
