Warrior Athletic Association hosting third annual sports scramble

Golf tournament features new format

For the third straight year, the Warrior Athletic Association is presenting the Sports Scramble Golf Tournament. A shot gun start will begin the golfing festivities that are set to begin at eight o’clock Saturday morning, May 6th, at Bryden Canyon Golf Course. Sponsored by the LC Valley Auto Dealers Association, the Sports Scramble is a two person per team golf tournament that involves scramble format play and a maximum ten stroke handicap difference. The $45 entry fee will afford an attendee with a barbecue lunch, tee prizes, free admission to the LC baseball game scheduled later in the day, and a lot of golfing fun. There will be three flights with the top three gross and net scores receiving cash payouts in each flight.

All proceeds will go to the Warrior Athletic Association and Warrior Athletics.
