Junior Tausha Kuzmic Finished in the Top Five

 LEWISTON, Idaho – The Lewis-Clark State women’s cross-country team won the 2003 Warrior Invitational on Saturday at Hells Gate State Park.
Junior Tausha Kuzmic led the Warriors with a fourth place finish and a time of 18:29.00 and the team one the race with a time of 1:34:27.00.

Four other Warriors also finished in the top 10 Saturday. Freshman Emily Perkins finished sixth with a time of 18:53.00. Rounding out the Warriors’ Top 10 finishers were Pam Houston (seventh-place – 18:58.00), April Homan (eighth-place – 18:59.00), and April Homan (ninth-place – 19:06.00).

 The Warrior men finished the invitational in second place behind Spokane Falls Community College with a team time of 2:13:04:00.  Senior Joe Donnellon, who finished in sixth place with a time of 25:50.00, led the Warrior men.

 In the most current NIAI national rankings, the women are no. 13 and the men sit at 21.
