PEI WINS AT ITA REGIONAL

Senior Collects Her Third Doubles Crown

LEWISTON, Idaho -  Lewis-Clark State's Pei Yuin Keng (Miri, Malaysia) earned her first ITA Regional singles title and third doubles title at the 2003 ITA Pacific Northwest Regional this weekend. 

A  three-time All-American, Pei recorded a complete shutout in the women's single event.  She scored a total of 36 straight games in route to her first ITA Regional singles title. In doubles, she earned her third consecutive ITA regional championship with new doubles partner Hephzi Segura (Lima Peru).

Pei will be one of eight NAIA regional singles winners converging in Corpus Christi on Oct. 16.  Hephzi will join Pei as the duo competes in the doubles competition.
