WARRIOR RUN AT WILLAMETTE Two Warriors Finish in Top 50 on Women's Side Oct. 4, 2003 SALEM, Ore. - The Lewis-Clark State Men's and Women's Cross Country teams spent the weekend in Salem, Ore. competing at the 2003 Willamette Invitational. Junior Tausha Kuzmic (Napa, Idaho) led a duo of lady Warriors who finished in the top 50 of the women's draw. Kuzmic finished 34th with a time of 18:40.34 and teammate Emily Perkins (Beaver, Wash.) finished in 42 with a time of 18:44.71. On the men's side, Senior Joe Donnellon (Coupeville, Wash.) led the Warriors with a 47th place finish and a time of 25:53.40. Teammate Matt Solosabal (Yakima, Wash.) finished with a time of 28:18.67 to garner a 76th place finish. The LCSC women earned a seventh place while the men's team finished 11th. The Warrior women are currently ranked No. 9 in the nation and the men sit at No. 24. The Warriors return to action Oct. 11 at the NNU Invite in Napa, Idaho.
