CROSS COUNTRY TEAMS IMPROVE IN THE POLLS LCSC Women Ranked in the Top-10 Sept. 26, 2003 LEWISTON, Idaho - The Lewis-Clark State Women's Cross Country Team is currently ranked eighth in the nation while the men are slotted at eighteenth, according to the latest NAIA national rankings. "We are pretty excited about this," said Head Coach Mike Collins. "As of right now both teams are in great position to make it to Nationals in Louisville this year. We still have a lot of racing to do and feel real good right now about our chances."
The Warrior women moved from 10 to eight while the men
also moved two spaces, going from 20 to 18. The team travels to the
Whitman Invite on Oct. 4 in Walla Walla, Wash. |
