the No. 2 spot, and on
occasion played No. 1, in
singles and played No. 1 in
doubles for LCSC as a junior
last season... Won six
singles matches last season
including one against MSU-Billings'
No. 1 and a 6-0, 6-1 win
against Indiana Wesleyan's
No. 2 at the National
Tournament... Chan and
teammate Mei Fong also
defeated Indiana Wesleyan's
No. 1 doubles team at
nationals... She joined the
Warriors as a freshman in
2006.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Earned four varsity
letters in tennis and
one in swimming at
Decatur High School...
Played No. 1 in tennis
and was team captain as
a sophomore, junior, and
senior... Was recognized
as the Seattle Times
Student Athlete of the
Week as a junior... Was
picked as the MVP of her
team on three occasions,
and competed at state
three times... Also
competed in USTA
tournaments and was
ranked in the top 15 in
the Northwest.
