LCSC: Made an immediate impact on the program by playing both No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles his freshman season… In singles play, he played all but one match at the No. 1 spot and posted a 6-15 mark… Five of his six victories came against NCAA schools… Played against seven players ranked No. 23 or better in the NAIA, including No. 1 Alberto Gonzales of Auburn Montgomery..… He played the entire season at No. 1 doubles, usually with Robert Benjamin as his partner… Posted an impressive 10-12 record, including a 4-4 mark against NAIA Top 25-ranked teams… Posted five straight victories at one point, which included a 9-8 triumph over the top doubles team from Gonzaga… Also had doubles win against Seattle, another NCAA Division I team.
