WARRIOR WOMEN OPEN 2003-04 WITH A VICTORY
Lewiston Native Kalbfleisch Scored a Career-High 24 Points

LEWISTON, Idaho – The Lewis-Clark State women’s basketball team defeated Trinity Western University 96-69 to win their season opener on Friday night in Clarkston, Wash.
Lewiston native, Cami Kalbfleisch (Lewiston, Idaho), led the Warriors with a career-high 24 points. The sophomore guard shot 11-for-18, grabbed six boards, two assists, and two steals.
Senior guard Jessica Foot (Brisbane, Australia) was a force on the offensive end Friday night adding 20 points in the win. Foot added four steals on the defensive end. Freshman BreAnna Mulvey (Spokane, Wash.) and junior Elise de Groot (San Luis Obispo, Calif.) each added nine points in the victory. Senior guard Elpidia Valle (Wilder, Idaho) orchestrated the offense with a game-high seven assists.
Samantha Hill and Shannon Lockhart led the Spartans with 13 points each.
The Warriors return to action tomorrow vs. Trinity Western at 7 p.m. The game will be played at Clarkston High School in Clarkston, Wash.
