Kendra Keen, formerly West, who played for L-C’s basketball program from 2001-2005, is returning as an assistant coach for the 2005-2006 season. Kendra, a graduate of Jerome High School (Jerome, ID), during her 4 years and 133 games at LCSC compiled some very impressive numbers. Such numbers include over 1100 points (8.4 per game), a career field goal percentage of .464, and the all-time Warrior record of 750 rebounds in a career. She also was selected to the All-Academic Frontier Conference during her sophomore, junior, and senior year.

Currently, after being married this past summer (2005), Kendra resides in Lewiston and is student teaching to complete her degree in elementary education. She enters her first year as an assistant coach, and, because of her experience as a Warrior and the fact that her sister is sophomore forward Venessa West, Kendra should be a valuable asset to the coaching staff when it comes to player insight and coaching.
