Robin Bogar is entering his third year as the top assistant for the women’s basketball program at Lewis-Clark State College. In his first two seasons with the program, Robin has had a major impact as the team has finish as the conference champions in both campaigns. During his tenure, the Warriors have a remarkable overall record of 57-8 (.877) and have a conference record of 25-3 (.893). In addition, LCSC has reached the Sweet 16 at the National Tournament in each of the last two seasons. Prior to his arrival in Lewiston, Coach Bogar was at Montana State University-Northern where he was an assistant coach for women’s basketball and was also the school’s golf coach. A graduate of Montana State University-Billings, Bogar received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Public Relations in 2003. After graduation he spent one season as the boy’s basketball coach at Joliet High School in Joliet, Mont. The following year he did a one year stint at Ryegate, Mont. where he was the head coach for both the boys’ and girls’ varsity basketball teams. In addition to being in charge of the women’s basketball strength and conditioning program, Bogar will be involved in every aspect of the program including: recruiting, on-court coaching, game and practice planning, travel, and film exchange. A native of Circle, Montana, Robin is finishing his master’s degree in Sports Management at the University of Idaho. |
