1-12-08
LEWISTON,
Idaho – Jade Fulbright
(shown left) came into
the game just two steals
away from recording the
third most career steals

Lewis-Clark State
College women’s
basketball program—she
left with three steals
and a team leading 16
points to aid in a
Warrior win over Montana
State
University-Northern on
Saturday evening 68-56.
Fulbright’s three steals
during the game bumped
her career number up to

Coincidentally, teammate
Katie Hart collected one
steal on the night to
move her career total to
224 and place her tied

Lewis-Clark State
once again played very
aggressive and pressing
defense and was able to
jump out to 15 point
lead in just the first
eight minutes of play.
Led by Fulbright’s 12
points on 5-of-6
shooting, LCSC shot 59
percent including a
3-of-5 mark from behind
the arc during a first
half that ended with the
Warriors up 39-18.
In the second half
LCSC’s shooting cooled
down to 23 percent, but
its defense continued to
force turnovers and keep
the ball in the
Warriors’ hands.
Overall, the Skylights
turned the ball over 14
times in the second half
and 31 times in the
game.
Besides
Fulbright, whose final
line was 16 points on
5-of-10 shooting, 5
assists, and 3 steals,
Breianna Gaines added 12
points, Mandy Troutt
(pictured left) had 7
points and 6 rebounds,
Sadie Short ended with
10 points, 2 rebounds,
and 3 steals, and Katie
Hart finished with 7
points, 3 rebounds, and
4 assists.
For MSU-Northern, Dana
Ball and Becky Sorenson
both scored a team
leading 15 points, and
Stacie Baker led the
Skylights with 6
rebounds.
The win gives LCSC a
five game winning streak
and puts it at 14-3
overall and 3-0 in the
Frontier Conference. MSU-Northern
drops to 11-7 overall
and 1-3 in the
conference.
