The Lewis-Clark State
College women’s basketball
team fell two spots to No.
16 in this week’s NAIA Top
25 poll, which was released
on Wednesday.
The Warriors, 10-3 overall,
split a pair of games last
weekend in the Wells Fargo
Invitational, losing to then
10th-ranked Azusa Pacific,
but bouncing back to defeat
the College of Idaho.
The Warriors totaled 168
points in the poll, just two
behind No. 15 Cumberland
University of Tennessee.
Azusa Pacific climbed three
spots to No. 7 after
defeating LCSC for the
second time this season and
then knocking off last
week’s No. 7 team, Carroll
College, which fell to No. 9
this week.
Westminster is the third
Frontier Conference team to
be ranked, but fell two
spots to No. 23. Montana
State-Northern and Montana
Western also received
votes.
