2008-09: Made an immediate impact when in her first game as a Warrior she went 9-of-23 from the field and scored 21 points, all in the first half, in a win over Warner Pacific… earned first team all-Frontier Conference honors and also was selected as the conference’s Freshman of the Year… continued with her impressive season as she had only one game during the regular season of less than seven points… scored a career-high 30 points by hitting 13-of-15 shots from the field against Rocky Mountain… had 22 games where she finished in double figures, including five of at least 20 points… became the first freshman to lead the Warriors in scoring since at least the 1995-96 season… started every game but one and still managed to score 10 points in that contest… had season highs of eight rebounds (twice), four assists (seven), and five steals…. led the team in steals, was third in blocked shots, fourth in rebounds, and fifth in assists… was the only freshman to earn first-team all-conference honors…. finished 39th in the NAIA in field goal percentage.

 

HIGH SCHOOL: Was named the Seattle Times’ Class 2B Player of the Year her sophomore, junior, and senior years… earned first-team all-Columbia B League honors all four years of high school… nominated for the McDonald’s All America Team as a senior… Team won state title her sophomore and senior years and was named the tournament MVP… was named to the Seattle Times and Yakima media All-State teams, and also was a first-team all-league and first-team all-state tournament selection as well as being the Columbia Basin League’s MVP… as a junior, she averaged 12 points, five rebounds, and 3.5 steals per game and helped her team to the State 2B championship game… was named the tournament MVP as well as being selected to the all-tournament team as a junior, and was twice named KNDO’s Player of the Week during the season… also helped her team to the state tournament as a sophomore where again she was named to the all-tournament team… was a three-time Associated Press First Team State Class 2B selection, and also participated in the All State Basketball Game her final three years where she was the game’s MVP as a junior... also a three-time participant in the Yakima Herald Republic Media Classic… also was a standout soccer player and helped La Salle to four trips to the Final Four of the 1A State Soccer finals, including three championship game appearances… was a three-time all-state center midfielder and named to the all-Columbia League four times and was the league MVP as a junior and senior… also was the Yakima Herald Republic’s Soccer Player of the Year as a junior, and served as the team’s captain as a senior.

 

PERSONAL: Elementary Education major… parents are Jeff and Lorita Stohr… Has one sister, Whitney and one brother, Kaleb… born Aug. 14, 1990.
