L-C drops seventh straight

Lewis-Clark State continues to struggle, losing its seventh straight to Whitworth in a three-game nonconference sweep at Warrior Gym.

Whitworth (8-2) prevailed by scores 30-28, 30-22, 30-26, with Julie Marsh registering 12 kills and 19 digs. Rebekah Hornor provided 29 assists for the Pirates.

The Warriors (3-7) got eight kills each from Marie Lauder and Addy Hines. Stephanie Wayt had 18 assists and Julie Shinney led the team with 12 digs.

Neither team had a particularly strong game. Whitworth posted a .129 attack percentage while L-C managed only .039 hitting.
