Warriors top Rocky Mountain, end skid

A day after losing a
five-game heartbreaker and six weeks since it last tasted
victory, Lewis-Clark State subdued Rocky Mountain in a
five-game Frontier Conference volleyball match Saturday at
the Activity Center.
The Warriors won 30-32,
25-30, 30-22, 30-14, 15-5 to snap a 15-match losing streak.
L-C, which hit below .050 in
its losses in the first two games, got its attack together
in the final three. The Warriors hit .563 in the last game.
Tyger
Spencer had 20 kills for the Warriors, while she and Dawn
Ingham came up with 13 digs apiece. Mindy Meyer doled out 59
assists.
L-C, which fell to Carroll on
Friday, goes to 2-15 overall and 1-6 in conference play.
