Spencer Named Conference, Region I Player of the Week

Tuesday, November 5, 2005 the NAIA announced the players of the week of October 24-30, and LCSC’s own Tyger Spencer was declared both Frontier Conference and Region I volleyball Player of the Week. Well deserving of this award, Spencer seemed unstoppable during Saturday’s match (October 30, vs. UM-Western), and even more so during the Sunday win against the league leading Westminster College Griffins. She totaled, during the two matches, 43 kills, 5 assisted blocks, 3 service aces, and 16 digs.

Region I honors include both the Frontier and the Cascade Collegiate conferences, involving 18 teams and roughly 216 players.
