JUNIOR:
Had an
impressive first year with the Warriors with 155
kills, which ranked fourth on the team…led the
team with a .218 hitting percentage…also led the
team in solo blocks with 24 and block assists
with 60…saw action in 26 matches and 84
games…was one of four Warriors to earn Frontier
Conference All-Academic honors.
JUNIOR COLLEGE:
Coming
off an outstanding year where she earned Junior
College First-Team All-American honors and was
the East Region’s MVP…named the NWAACC
Tournament MVP after helping Walla Walla to the
conference tournament title, a first for the
program…was selected the team’s MVP after
setting four school records….led the teams in
kills as a sophomore and in blocks both
years…during career was named NWAACC’s Player of
the Week twice and East Region Player of the
Week five times.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Was a
four-year letterwinner in both volleyball as a
middle blocker and served as the team captain
her junior year…helped team win two state titles
and also was chosen to A/B All-State Team as a
senior…also was a post on the basketball team
where she was captain her senior year and played
on the varsity all four seasons…won state
basketball title her junior year and was second
as a senior…lettered twice in track.
PERSONAL:
Born Feb. 12, 1987 in Spokane….parents are Gary
and Leigh… has one brother, Chad…cousin Ty Groh
played volleyball at the Air Force Academy….is
pursuing a degree in Kinesiology at LCSC. |
