Frontier Conference honors
two LCSC volleyball players

BILLINGS, Mont. – Two
volleyball players from
Lewis-Clark State College
were honored by the Frontier
Conference as Players of the
Week on Tuesday.
Anile
Clemente (left), a 5-foot-11
sophomore outside hitter
from Sorocaba, Sao Paolo,
Brazil, and Lindsay Scott, a
5-8 junior from Kennewick,
Wash., both received
conference honors for their
play in two matches last
week.
Clemente was named the
Player of the Week after
collecting 28 kills, 16
digs, two service aces and
four block assists last week
when the Warriors lost to
No. 8 College of Idaho, but
bounced back to defeat No.
11 Westminster, both on the
road, to move into a tie for
first place in the
conference standings.
Scott
(left) was chosen as the
Libero of the Week. She
finished with 36 digs, an
average of 5.14 per game,
and also had a service ace.
The setter of the week was
Hailey Pearce of Rocky
Mountain.
The Warriors wrap up the
home portion of their
schedule this week when they
play host to Rocky Mountain
at 7 p.m. on Friday and then
take on Carroll College at
noon on Sunday.
