to Southern Oregon

With a win over Concordia
University of Nebraska, but
a loss to Southern Oregon
University, the Lewis-Clark
State College women's
volleyball team finishes the
Concordia University
Tournament with a
2-2 record on the
season.
Cintia Alessi,
who led the Warriors in both
games on Friday, recorded 21
kills and 17 digs in the
30-24, 30-26, 30-28 win over
Concordia-Nebraska. Also in
this match,
Lisa Davis
added 19 digs, and
Brittney Kubik
had 7 kills.
Saturday's second match
versus Southern Oregon ended
in a loss 28-30, 30-16,
19-30, and 24-30. Against
Southern Oregon, Alessi had
11 kills and 10 digs,
Marie Balmer
had 12 digs, and Kubik
recorded 10 kills and 9
blocks.
Next weekend the Warriors
travel to Spokane to
participate in the Whitworth
University Invitational. In
this tournament the Warriors
will face Willamette
University and Whitworth on
Friday, and then on Saturday
play Frontier Conference
foe, University of
Montana-Western, and an
opponent to be determined.
