LCSC’s Alessi is named FC’s
Libero of the Week

Mont. – Lewis-Clark State
College junior Cintia Alessi
has been named the Frontier
Conference’s Libero of the
Week for her performance in
two matches last week.
Alessi helped the Warriors,
13-4 overall, split a pair
of matches on the road. The
Warriors lost to the
University of Great Falls in
five games, but bounced back
the next night to defeat
Montana State-Northern, also
in five games.
Alessi, a 5-foot-9 outside
hitter who has played libero
for the past month because
of an abdominal pull,
averaged 5.70 digs per game.
She also had four service
aces.
Also honored by the
conference were sophomore
Katie Daly of Montana Tech
as the Player of the Week,
and freshman Leigha
Dangerfield of Westminster
as Setter of the Week.
The Warriors resume action
tonight against the College
of Idaho in Caldwell.
