honored by conference

State College sophomore Dana
Christiansen has become the
first Warrior volleyball
player to be honored by the
Frontier Conference this
season as she was named the
Player of the Week.
Christiansen, a 5-foot-11
outside hitter from Idaho
Falls, helped LCSC sweep
both Montana-Western and
Montana Tech in three
straight games to stand tied
with Westminster for first
place in the conference at
6-1. LCSC has won 10 of its
last 11 matches to stand
12-3 overall.
During the two matches,
Christiansen recorded 16
kills, five assists, three
digs, and one block assist,
and hit .481 for the two
matches.
The Warriors used all 14
players on the roster during
both matches.

Player of the Week:
Dana Christiansen, 5’11”

Lewis-Clark won two matches
at home, sweeping Montana
Western 3-0 and Montana Tech
3-0. She had 16 kills and a
.481 hitting percentage.
Christiansen had five
assists, three digs and one
assisted block. Also

Kelly Fox of Rocky Mountain
College.
Setter of the Week:
Hailey Pearce, 5’8”, senior,
Rocky Mountain College, from
Walla Walla, Wash. Rocky
went 1-1 for the weekend.
The Bears beat conference
rival Carroll College 3-0
and lost to NCAA Divison II
MSU-Billings 1-3. Pearce
averaged 9.14 assists. She
had 18 digs, 12 kills, two
aces, and one assisted
block. Also nominated;

Westminster College and Lisa
Davis of Lewis-Clark State.
Libero
of the Week: Bree
Riet, 5’6”, senior,
Westminster College, from
Chester, Utah. Westminster
won home matches against
Montana Tech 3-0 and Montana
Western 3-0. Riet averaged 5
digs per game. Also
nominated: Cintia Alessi of
Lewis-Clark State.
