HIGH SCHOOL: Was a four-year starter in volleyball, and also was on the soccer and track teams for two seasons…during her freshman season, her volleyball team made it to the first round of the CIF playoffs and received the Gatorade Award…she earned all-Empire League honors and the Coaches Award during her sophomore year as the team again made the first round of the CIF playoffs…during junior year, Herrick earned all-league honors, was the Team MVP, Team Captain, and earned the Best Offensive Award…her team also made it to the second round of the state playoffs…as a senior, she was the CIF SS Division III Player of the Year, the Empire League MVP, Team MVP, Team Captain, and won the coaches Award…also was named as a Player to Watch by the Orange County Register. ..Cypress High also won the Empire League title and captured the CIF SS Division III crown for the first time in school history…the team finished with a 32-2 record, also the best in school history…won Bank of America certificate in Arts.
