All-around
athlete lettered four years
in volleyball, basketball
and track, and also lettered
once in cross country…was
the four-time North Star
League MVP in volleyball and
a three-time selection to
the Spokesman Review
All-North Idaho first
Team…was selected the North
Idaho Volleyball Player of
the Year twice, and was a
two-time first-team
all-State volleyball
selection….in basketball,
she was a three-time
all-league selection,
including being the MVP her
senior year…she played in
the Idaho High School
All-Star Basketball Game...during
her junior year, she placed
fifth in the 100 meters and
also helped Kootenai to a
fifth place finish in the
medley relay at the Idaho
State 1A Track and Field
Championships… placed
fifth in the pole vault,
seventh in the 800 and
eighth in the 400 her senior
year at StateHan…was
nominated for the Idaho
Sports Banquet’s Female Prep
Athlete of the Year and
Volleyball Player of the
Year.

daughter of the late Bill
Nyrop and Mandy Love and
stepdaughter of John
Love…sister is Jessica (22)
and has three step-brothers,
Cory (26), Perry (25) and
Jacob (10) and one
step-sister Charli (20)…her
mother was her high school
volleyball coach and played
volleyball and rank track at
Washington State
University…her father played
hockey and football at Notre
Dame and professionally with
Montreal and Minnesota in
the National Hockey
League…stepfather played
football and wrestled at
Montana Western, and sister
Jessica plays volleyball at
the University of San
Diego…also enjoys playing
basketball and watching the
NFL…plans to major in
Kinesiology.
