PERSONAL: Born May 6, 1986 in San Paulo, Brazil …she is the daughter of Carlos and Ester Clemente...has one sister, Aline. road to Lewiston was full of twists…originally signed with Pittsburgh State University, an NCAA Division II school in Pittsburgh, PA., in 2006, but had to defer her admission to achieve PSU’s Test of English as a Foreign Language requirement, and she wound up at Neosho County…following her big 2006 season at NCCC, she again signed with Pittsburgh State University, only to discover that according to NCAA rules, she would have only one year of eligibility left…. under NAIA rules, she had three years of eligibility left…. Pittsburgh State coach Ibraheem Suberu made some phone calls to coaching friends to find Clemente a good NAIA school and one of the calls went to a friend of Greeny, who recommended LCSC to Suberu…is majoring in Kinesiology with an emphasis on Health.
